 Warrior Run

DAY/TIME: Sunday, June 9, at 10am
LOCATION:

Ahrens /Paschall Memorial Park (printable map of park)
DESCRIPTION: Crawl through mud and climb over obstacles in this fierce running challenge.  Push your limits physically and mentally by competing in this ultimate race.  Click here for the course map!
Timing: This race uses a chip timing system.
Details: There will be a water station at the halfway point of the race. Free water and bananas provided for all runners immediately following race.  Free entertainment by local Scottish highland pipe band, the Turlach Urchins.
entry fee:

$40 ($60 after 5pm on Thursday, June 6)
Guaranteed Grinnell Games technical t-shirt for participants registered before May 15. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after that date.
prizes:

$800 - first place male
$800 - first place female
Prizes for second place, third place, best costume and spirit!
participation: Beginner to expert, ages 12 +. All participants must sign a waiver to compete, and runners ages 12-17 must have a parent present at registration to sign a special release form.
PACKET PICK-UP & REGISTRATION: Check-in and race packets will be available for pick-up from 8:45am to 9:45am at Ahrens/Paschall Memorial Park.  Your packet will include your race bib with safety pins, chip timer and your t-shirt. Race packets can also be picked up at the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce office (833 4th Avenue, Grinnell) on Thursday, June 6, from 8am to 6pm and Friday, June 7, from 8am to 3pm.
WHAT YOU NEED AT PACKET PICK-UP: Your photo ID, warrior spirit, and 12-17 year olds must have a parent present with them to sign a special release form.
