DAY/TIME: Saturday, June 8, at 8am
LOCATION: The race will begin and end in downtown Grinnell. Central Park
DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a "jewel" of a course touring the best of beautiful Grinnell, Iowa. The course is relatively flat and fast with a few rolling hills - looping through the historic downtown, around Grinnell College, through the Paul W. Ahrens Park, along the countryside and down Broad Street where old Victorians and trees line the road. It's great for spectators too! Bring your family and have them cheer you along at multiple points on the course.

Timing: This race uses a chip timing system.
entry fee:

Half Marathon - $45 entry fee ($50 after 5pm on Thursday, June 6)
5K - $35 entry fee ($40 after 5pm on Thursday, June 6)

Guaranteed Grinnell Games technical t-shirt for participants registered before May 15. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after that date.
awards:

Half Marathon: 1st - $100, 2nd - $75, 3rd - $50, 4th - $25, and 5th - $20
5k: 1st - $50, 2nd - $25, and 3rd - $20
$20 per age group for both males and females

*All Half Marathon finishers will receive medals.
results: Official results will be posted at the registration trailer and on this page as soon as possible following the race. Please allow our staff time to process results. Top finishers and medals will be presented at approximately 11 a.m. at the finish line.
age divisions: Half Marathon: 14-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
5K: 11 and under, 11-14, 15-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

PACKET PICK-UP & REGISTRATION

 Check-in and race packets will be available for pick-up from 7 to 7:45 a.m.. at the starting line of the half marathon. Check in at the white trailer, which will be parked at the intersection of Fourth Ave & Main St near Total Choice Shipping & Printing. Your packet will include your race bib with safety pins, chip timer, and a t-shirt. Race packets can also be picked up at the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce office (833 4th Avenue, Grinnell) on Thursday, June 6, from 8am to 6pm and Friday, June 7, from 8am to 3pm.
